    1. I'm clearing out a trove of old tech it's just struck me how odd it is that I used to use a small FM transmitter powered by my car's cigarette lighter to get tunes from my iPod shuffle on to my car radio. There's a lot of dated tech right there!

    It's also frustrating that I have so many cables to connect devices to screens. Why 3 different Thunderbolt sizes? Why did my camera have a minijack/composite port and an HDMI port but they gave only the minijack cable at a time when all TVs had HDMI?
