  1. Watched Red Sparrow. Should have been lots to love but too much to hate. I'm not eloquent enough to pin down everything that was wrong without watching again but to me the film exploits Jennifer Lawrence (and her character) and uses rape as entertainment. @thepooluk/969154529135509504

      I'd love to have seen Red Sparrow written by a female writing team and maybe to see Jennifer's own cut of the film. This film is directed as male objectification of a female actor/character and it feels to me that it could have been so much more and part of a post-#MeToo world.
